As we live in this world, we can't deny that there are a lot of struggles and circumstances that will test how strong and determined we are to reach our goals and dreams in life. In Mary Ann's journey before she finished her study, she faced so many battles, and one of these is financial problems, because she came from a family where life is difficult; for that reason, she experienced going to school with an empty pocket, where she ate only rice inside the comfort room because she didn't want her classmate to see me and bully her again because she didn't have any money to buy food. But she never complained about what her parents can provide or what they have; instead, she uses it as motivation for her to think positively throughout the process of reaching her dreams.

Moreover, In the whole process of putting her dreams into reality, according to Mary Ann, there are a lot of experiences that give her lessons and serve as guides and reminders for her to become who really she is. One of the unforgettable moments that she has experienced is when they encountered a problem in which they expected that those people who were expected to help them didn't consider hearing their side, for the reasons that they are not a well-known family and because of the status of life that they have. They really feel belittled by other people, but instead of complaining and fighting for their rights, they surrender it to our almighty God. We know that God sees our pure intention. By that situation, she was motivated to work hard and do what she really can for her to reach her dreams, which is to finish her bachelor's degree, and God is so good because he gives her so much favour that opens her mind to be more grateful for the life that she have. Indeed we should not reason out our experience for us to stop what we dream but to be more inspired and motivated to achieve it.

In addition, based on the statement of Mary Ann, she came from a family where people didn't give value to education that much, maybe because of the status of life that they have where they choose to spend their time working to provide money instead of spending time at school, or maybe because of the word contentment. Both of her parents didn't finish primary level; also, her brothers and sisters didn't finish their secondary level. That situation gives her so much reason to continue her studies despite the difficulties. The trust issues that her parents have towards her hit so much pressure; she turns that negativity into a positive one; she choose to fight for what she dream. Because she really wants to break the stigma in their family, every time she surpasses and achieves every milestone of her journey, she feels so much blessed and grateful according to her. ; she couldn't imagine how she has done it. But one thing answers her question: it is because of God's goodness that puts her where she is right now. To all students who are still fighting for their dreams, just work hard and surrender everything to God; keep your faith burning, because when the time is right, the Lord will make it happen.
